Web Design and Development

Ben has been working as a web designer for many years, in fact, it’s where his love his digital technology began. For four years after graduating from the University of Lincoln, Ben was self-employed running his own design agency, Tall Lime Ltd, through which he had the opportunity to work with clients in the UK and overseas.

Ben’s main client at that time was the British Growers Association, for whom he designed the international websites for British Carrots, British Onions and a number of agricultural conferences. He’s also had the pleasure of working with the Rotary Action Group Against Child Slavery to design their new website, Paradigm YP (a charity campaigning for First Aid to be added to the curriculum in the UK) and many businesses in Lincolnshire and beyond, including Compare Business Calls, Greenborough Management, Broxholme Associates and many others. Throughout, Ben kept his interest in amateur dramatics close to his heart, and for five years was the designer and website manager for CAODS (the County Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society) an award-winning theatre company based in Lincoln.

Alongside website design, Ben has also designed and build web applications including training courses for the University of Lincoln, brochures and introductory modules for businesses. As Ben moved towards his current role as a Digital Education Developer, he started to build more websites for research projects including the Environmental Resistance Project, Centre for Entangled Media Research and Cricket Lincs, a project looking at the rich and diverse history of Lincolnshire cricket.

You can see examples of Ben’s website design work below. If you’d be interested in working with him on a web design and development project then do get in touch. He’d love to hear from you.
