In the spring of 2020, Ben will commence his PhD studies with the University of Lincoln in the School of Fine and Performing Arts. Studying on the MPhil/PhD in Music programme, Ben’s provisional thesis title is: ‘Just Because I’m A Woman’: An Ethnographical Study of Contemporary Gender Bias Issues in American Country Music.
